Looking for that standup video on ooooootube I also found a link to my old documentary I made back in 2005 or summat. I went to Chernobyl to film a video for 'What We Made'. I was a keen follower of the Green Party back then - I even rode my bike to work on occasion.

Lots of 'old' example fans are like "oi mate, you used to be good, you used to talk about nuclear war and stuff, now you just write shit love songs about birds and that"

That's because I've found love and romance as I've matured. Well that's what someone in media training told me to say anyway...

Well, there's a track on my new album called 'The Fearless' which is like almost proper political and stuff. It's about the fall of Lehman Brothers and economic doom. How are excited are you all now?

I've just been to see the new Adam Sandler film Funny People. It's extremely deep. All about the sad life of a stand-up comedian. Those guys have the hardest time ever.

TIME MACHINE

My new album is a way off yet - you wont hear Wont Go Quietly aka ALBUM No.2 in full until January. But just to keep you a likkle excited I've uploaded a small clip of a new album track

It's called TIME MACHINE and was produced by the lovely Calvin Harris. I'm really pleased with it. It's all about how we shouldn't dwell on the past and only look forward to the future and I've used the time machine as a metaphor for this - wow, see what I did there? Clever huh. Complete artistic licence to talk about anything I want past or present and none of it has to make an ounce of sense!

FACT 1: At 33secs my arms look incredibly long - like a gibbon. And at 1.16secs - check out DJ WIres walk - bowlin!!

FACT 2: The London street scenes were shot on Broadway Market in Hackney and just off Great Eastern Rd

FACT 3: at 2.15secs when the girl strips off - we had to shoot this 14 times to ensure I could fully see her bits

FACT 4: We shot at 12 locations around Ibiza. The bar scene was done near Cafe Del Mar and the rock I jump off was 26feet high

FACT 5: This video cost more than my previous 7 videos combined but don't tell my label I told you that ;)

FACT 6: The director saw 37 different girls for the female role. Hard days work 4 him. The model/actress we chose is from Kingston

Sheldrake brought this to my attention just now. We watched an episode to kill an hour before we have to go to the airportoss.

Best TV Show in years. It's 2 brothers and their dog Charlie driving round London catching rats. The dog is let loose in peoples living rooms and then within minutes its found the rat and killed it! Gritty television at its best
